A Pained Heart

Posted in Nadine, Poems | No Comments »

Pierced my heart, you did
You fool
And I’m a fool too
A fool who fell for you

What I got was pain and hurt
You tried, I know you did
But you never managed to remove
The torns that you have pinned

In my heart

See the gleam in your eye
As you pushed in the first thorn
Oh how my heart bleeds
Shudder as your eyes cloud
Mists fill them as you weep

Oh how you tried to remove them
But failed miserably

How I watched you cried
And cried along with you
But it was all in vain
For I am still in pain

I’ve been really busy lately with most of my online projects due yet I still have not completed them :P Yeah, I’ve been procrastinating. Bad me eh? :D

2nd Month

so how was the day
my Sweet, my Love?
did You have a great time?
did You feel loved?

and I hope that You know
that I love You
but I can’t express my love
the same way as You do

61 days, 2 months
that’s how long it’s been
we’ve had laughter, we’ve had love
and we’ve held on deep within

this day has finally come
I have been hoping for a great one
You have provided and made me whole
for I have You, and I’m Your only one

This is a Story of a Girl

At a little corner of a house
Sits a doll.
She is very small.
Bloody tears stain her paper thin glass face,
Outlining the cracks that adorn her cheeks.
Her broken limbs hang by her side
Her head bowed in sorrow.
She is as fragile as the wind.
Having fallen off the mantel so many times,
It’s a wonder how she stays together.

I picked her up and peered inside her.
She had a storm within her.
Worry, Anguish, Regret and Pain fought a war.
They refused to leave her alone.
I stared into her painful eyes
And compared her to the beautiful dolls sitting on the window panel.
They were white and immaculate.
With perfectly painted faces and delicate hands.
But hollow as the porcelain vase.

I held the doll to my face.
And kissed her.
Then I crushed her.
